Browser2Phone is an app for Android smartphones that allows you to take pictures and send messages directly from the browser on your computer or laptop using your phone.

To get started you have to:

1. Install the app on your phone from Android Market and open it

2. Enter your email and a password inside the app and press "Activate"

3. Return to this page from your computer and login

How it works
Browser2Phone is an app that allows you to access phone functions from a webbrowser. Currently the app supports the camera and text messages, and more functions will be added shortly.

The system uses Googles push messages to contact your phone, and this means that if this service has to work correctly, your phone must have an active data connection (3g or 4g), otherwise it won't work.

Permissions
The app needs some permissions in order to work - here's an explanition why:

Network communication:
Used when communicating with the middleware server (between your browser and the phone)

Hardware controls:
Used when taking a picture with the camera on the phone

Services that may cost you money:
Used when sending a SMS

Phone calls:
Used for reading the phone state and identity (we need to hook your phone up with your username and password)

System tools:
Waking up the phone when a request has been made
